RCIA Candidates

We have seven people in the Parish RCIA process.  God is good!  Please keep them in your prayers, may they continue to be open to the working of the Holy Spirit in their lives. Recall last year, Austin Tetley entered the Church through Baptism at the Easter Vigil.  Today, he has enlisted into the U.S. Air Force and is stationed in Texas.  Very proud of him!  If you can, please send him a letter of encouragement and support. Here’s his address:

AB Tetley, Austin, S

1320 Truemper St.  Unit 369533
Lackland, TX  78236-6432

Last Saturday, we held the funeral service and Mercy Meal for fallen Woodstock Police Officer Joseph McComiskey, Jr. here in the church.  A big “thank you” to the parish bereavement committee; led by P.J. Ouellette, filling in for Gloria Morin.  Also “thank you” to Lector, Paula Strickon and the Altar Servers, Ed Rush and Dr. Francisco.  The family expressed their heartfelt gratitude for how lovely everything turned out in the church under the circumstance.  It’s really nice to see the parish pull together!

We need Adorers for Adoration on Wednesdays at the 11:00 am hour and the 2:00 pm hour.  We would like to have two (2) people per hour during Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament.  Please consider doing this.  It would make a great Lenten exercise!  Please call Sue Whitman at (603) 745-3331.  Thank you!

Downstairs in the church, in the meeting room next to the hall, there is a wall of books there for your reading pleasure.  We used to make you sign a book out and promise to return it at some point.  Jane Maki, the librarian has given permission to just take a book of your liking and read it and if you can, return it at your leisure.  If you are visiting and cannot return it, then give it away.  So please come down and parous the collection of books and take one home with you.

See you this Friday in church praying the Stations of the Cross at 5:30 pm!

Peace, Fr. David
