Trip to La Salette Shrine

The Faith Formation (Rel. ed.) children have raised money through bake sales to fund a field trip to the La Salette Shrine. They will charter a bus which will take them to the shrine, lunch and other fun places along the way in celebration of a year well done! Thank you to the parents, and those who baked goodies for the sales. Thank you also to those of you who donated toward this wonderful cause. A big “Thank You” to Ms. Paula King, the Coordinator of Rel. ed., and her assistant teachers, Ms. Annie Anderson and Ms. Delia Sullivan who volunteered all year helping with crafts and lessons. It was a terrific year!

Thank you to all who wished me a Happy Birthday last weekend. It was truly a celebratory weekend for me! It began on Friday with the after morning Mass breakfast group and all the way until Sunday with those who gathered to sing me “happy birthday!” all day through! You whisked me into a new year with such great joy in my heart, …thank you!

Have you noticed some improvements happening around the parish grounds? Thanks to Mr. Eddie Rush who has volunteered to coordinate various maintenance projects that needed to be done. Two cracked glass windows were replaced inside the church, new painted lines in the parking lot, broken doorknob in the women’s restroom in the hall replaced, new protective flexi-glass covering the stained glass window in the church’s upstairs bathroom, just to name a few. There’s always something that needs fixing, and it’s always good to stay on top of things!

All Eucharistic Ministers who visit the homebound, please e-mail or call the office to let Ms. Nancy Sweeney, the Coordinator of Eucharistic Ministers, know who you are visiting. It is very important that you do so because the office needs to update its records and the tabernacle key will be kept in a secure lock box in which you will need to know the code to access the key.

Thanks to everyone who helps in big and small ways, to make our parish continue to flourish.

May the Good Lord continue to bless our parish family and visitors, here in the White Mountains.

Fr. Kneeland
