St Patrick’s Day Dinner

If you look hard enough, you will see the Nativity / Manger box buried in snow in front of the church. It is frozen in place by the icy snow and as it looks now, it might be there for a long time! LOL! Someone suggested that we get a statue of Jesus laying down position, and put it inside the box; making it Jesus’ tomb, for the Lenten Season. I don’t know about that idea! Haha! I did tell them though, not to worry, because there is only about 290 days left, until Christmas!

Be sure to purchase your tickets for the St. Patrick’s Dinner Celebration happening right here, on Saturday, March 16th 5PM on…
There will be delicious Corned Beef & Cabbage Irish dinner, thanks to the Woodstock Station and Chef David & Patty Paradis, other tasty dishes served buffet style, many great prizes/local gift certificates to be won in the Raffle Drawing, entertainment, Firehouse DJ, Step-Dancers, games, dancing, and fun. This event sells out every year, so please be sure to purchase your ticket after Mass today, or stop by the office during the week. $12 Adult, kids 8 and under free. Everyone is Irish that evening!

Our Parish Capital Campaign is going strong! Watch the progress on our paper mache mountain, located near the poor box, inside the church. If you haven’t made a contribution or a pledge toward this worthy cause, and would like to support the Parish, please fill out a pledge card located near the mountain and/or please pray for its success…and “thank you!”

Have a Blessed Lent and May God continue to bless our little parish here in the White Mountains!
