The other day a good friend of mine sent this beautiful anecdote which I wrote here. Do you know why birds do not fall from the tree branch, even when they sleep? The secret is in the tendons of the birds, when the knees bend, the feet hold firm. The feet do not let go of the branch until it unfolds the knee to fly. The bent knees give the birdie the strength to hold anything. Isn’t that wonderful? The Creator, God, did not make us different from the birds…… when we feel insecure, threatened ….. When everything is difficult, our greatest security comes from a bent knee before God in prayer! Bend your knees and talk to God, it is HE who renews our strength and faith. GET EXCITED ABOUT your life and nothing to get worried because the Creator is with you and He is holding you firm. Fight off everything that you find it difficult by filling your mind with abundant thoughts of love and faith, thoughts of God and glory, thoughts of this world and beyond. Make plans for what you want to do. Every day is a gift. Live it that way.
