ANNUAL PARISH CONCERT ANNUAL PARISH CONCERT
The parish concert on Tuesday the 24th was a big success. There was a good turn-out and everyone who came experienced a "very classy" and entertaining evening. this was our third concert and hopefully, if Caroline gets her way, there will be a fourth next year. We can only hope! Thanks to Mrs. Caroline Long who created and meticulously put together the concert event and the selections that were played. Thanks to her three soloists, Cecile Eisenhauer, Kristen Peterson, and Estelle Puzo who made her musical pieces come alive with their beautiful voices. And thanks to Pierrette Clermont and to all who helped her as we were all treated to a "delicious" ice cream banquet downstairs afterwards.
THE ART OF PRAYING
The Catholic Church has a treasure trove of beautiful prayers that the faithful throughout the world have been praying for centuries. Beginning this weekend and every weekend thereafter a "famous Catholic prayer" will be included in the parish bulletin. At the end of every homily we will recite this prayer together. Thanks to the "inspired" parishioner who came up with this suggestion. Our first prayer will be the one she suggested. The Memorare click here to visit prayer page for the Memorare
