This weekend is our final bake sale for the year. Thanks to your generosity and support, we’ve raised over $1500 so far! We’ll use the money to rent a bus to take the students and their families to LaSallette Shrine in Enfield, NH. We’ll have lunch along the way and spend some time doing something just for fun. Thanks again for all your support!

Three of our students…Brianna Blood, Talia Haynes, and Tucker Kirwin…will receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation on Thursday, June 7 and then receive their First Holy Communion during the 10:00 Mass on Sunday, June 10. They have worked very hard to learn about these Sacraments and are ready to fully receive Jesus. Please keep them in your prayers as they finish getting ready for this special time in their lives!

Please join us on Sunday, May 6 at the 10:00 Mass to crown Mary, our Mother. The month of May is the “month which the piety of the faithful has especially dedicated to Our Blessed Lady,” and it is the occasion for a “moving tribute of faith and love which Catholics in every part of the world [pay] to the Queen of Heaven” (Paul VI: Encyclical on the Month of May, no. 1).

Our First Communion candidates will crown Mary, and we invite all the children of our Parish to join in the procession leading up to the crowning. After Mass, we will have a Faith Formation Bake Sale. It will be a wonderful celebration of Mary, our First Communion students, and all the students who have worked so hard this year learning about our faith and how to live it every day. Please plan to celebrate with us!

The Faith Formation students have been learning about the Ten Commandments. Last week, we learned about “The Perfect Ten” (check it out on YouTube!) and made a Path to Perfection with Ten Commandments road signs to help us along the way.

1). On Sunday, May 6, prior to the 10:00 Mass, we will crown our statue of Mary to celebrate her loving support and intercessions on our behalf…we’ll also be hosting a bake sale after Mass that day! Please plan to join us!

As always, if you have any questions about out program, please contact Paula King at peking@together.net.

We have three students preparing for First Reconciliation and First Communion this year. Please keep Talia Haynes, Brianna Blood, and Tucker Kirwin in your prayers as they learn about these Sacraments and grow closer to Jesus on their journey.

The Faith Formation students and families will be having another bake sale next weekend, so please check it out! The Haynes family is hosting this time. We are holding the sales throughout the year to raise money to not only give back to the Parish, but to fund an end-of-year event to celebrate our faith and all the learning we’ve done this year. We appreciate your support!

Excitement is building as the birth of Our Lord gets closer, and we’ve been very busy! We had a wonderful time at the Holtzmans’ making advent wreaths for our families and sprays to hang on the fence at Lincoln Green.  Our bake sale hosted by Evan Bujeaud and his family, raised over $140.    The money will go to the Parish and will be used to enhance our Faith Formation program.   We won’t be getting together again until after the holidays, so we wish everyone a very blessed and happy Christmas and a wonderful New Year!

Last week, the Faith Formation students got together for our monthly gathering and shared what we’ve been learning in our lessons. Mrs. King shared what she learned about the first Thanksgiving…Squanto was a Catholic, so Thanksgiving has its roots in our Catholic history. Who knew!

We are planning to have a Children’s Choir again this year for the Children’s Christmas Eve Mass. Please let Mrs. King (348-8166) know if you are interested in participating. Rehearsals will be on Mondays at 4:00 pm starting November 27.

That’s it for now! God Bless!

Our first Bake Sale was held this past weekend! What a great turn-out…we had a wide variety of baked goods, and Brianna and Dylan Blood (and their mom!) did a great job of packaging and selling them! Thank you to all the families for their contributions and to everyone who purchased something! Our next Bake Sale will be Sunday, December 10.

The next Faith Formation gathering is this Thursday (11/9) from 5:00 – 6:30. We will meet for 5:00 Mass and then gather in the meeting room downstairs for activities and snacks.  Our focus will be Thanksgiving from a Catholic perspective. As always, we invite you to join us and help us learn more about our faith.
