Come back to me with all your heart … long have I waited for your coming home to me and living deeply our new life (Hosea 14).

Dear Parishioners and Visitors,

Holy Week begins soon. Our forty-day Lenten pilgrimage is almost over. There is still time to rediscover the zeal that we all had on Ash Wednesday, when we proudly wore that mark of penitence on our foreheads. Maybe it’s a mark a lot of people left in the bathroom sink. But we should continue to carry it in our hearts.  This Monday, March 30, we will celebrate Reconciliation Monday—all the churches in the Diocese of Manchester will be open for confession. Here at St. Joseph’s, confessions will be heard in the confessional – either behind the screen or face-to-face – from 11:00 A.M. to Noon, and from 5:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M.  It’s a wonderful opportunity to be reconciled, to know the beauty of God’s mercy, to walk again among the living, and to embrace again the fullness of the light of Christ. He is longing for your coming home to Him.

With prayerful best wishes,

Fr. John Mahoney
