Dear Parishioners and  Visitors,

Thanks to so many who have inquired about the status of my medical  progress since suffering a heart attack some months ago.  My cardiologist has a few concerns about the slow response that medication has had on my “ejection fraction” rate and blood pressure, as well as the discovery of a blood clot in the left ventricle. So, the treatment plan is to alter the medication-assisted therapy, undergo another echocardiogram, cancel the anti-clotting drugs, and be hospitalized at CMC for a cardiac defibrillation implant. I am doing my best to schedule things to minimize any changes to the parish’s schedule of Masses and Adoration, but things may appear a bit different in church post-op, since I’ll not be able to raise my arms above shoulder height for a few weeks. Thanks for keeping me in your good thoughts, past and future.

With prayerful best wishes,

Fr. John Mahoney
