As a church family, our Faith Formation teachers and students are building a stronger, more compassionate community by practicing the Corporal Works of Mercy. We extend heartfelt thanks to our St. Joseph’s Parish family and to our visitors who donated hats, gloves, socks, essential toiletries, and healthy snacks, and to the Parish Outreach Committee who provided funds to purchase travel hot/cold mugs to include in the Blessing Bags. Last Sunday we assembled 64 Blessing Bags, which exceeded our goal of 50 bags. This act of almsgiving and charity was accomplished only by your generosity!

The Blessing Bags will be distributed to unsheltered people, local shelters, deserving families, and incarcerated youth and adults, thereby exercising the Lord’s mandate to feed the hungry, give drink to the thirsty, clothe the naked, shelter the homeless, and visit the imprisoned. Our overall message is printed on each mug that will be given away: YOU MATTER!

Thank you for your support!
