ACTIVE SHOOTER TRAINING

The Diocese of Manchester has made available to all parishes the training services of Blue-U Defense, a workshop designed to train parish ministers how to recognize potential threats, react quickly and effectively, and protect themselves and others in the face of an active shooter on parish property. These experienced instructors will guide participants through various scenarios and provide practical tips and strategies for staying safe.

On Saturday, July 15, 2023 at 10:00 AM, here at St. Joseph Church, our Greeters, Sacristans, EMs, Lectors, Parish Pastoral Council and Parish Finance Council Members, Music Ministers and Faith Formation Leaders, 18 and over, will attend an in-person training on how to respond to an active shooter situation on parish property.
